I am kinda excited; I received my first ever county jury summons in the mail last week. I mailed back my questionnaire and have the chance now to participate in what makes our country so wonderful, a trial by jury of your peers. Hmmmm, I wonder if I will get seated on a jury? I wonder if I will sit bored off my butt in the courthouse all day working on needlepoint crafts? I cannot wait to see how this all plays out at the end of June!

I've always wanted to be on a jury, but never been called. The few people that I know who were called, ended up not being needed, which I guess is a good thing (not enough criminals, er, "alleged" criminals). Keep us posted on the happenings-hopefully yours will be more exciting!

I really do hope I get seated so I can be a part of the process and our government...And yes! Kitchen towels and some hand quilting are on my "hurry up and wait" agenda for those two weeks! Woohoo! I guess another visit to Crafty Planet is in my future! :-)
